These are the best pieces that I've done during month long drawing challenges. The months have a theme, mermaids and dragons respectively, and I had to design and draw a piece that fit that theme and fit a daily prompt, which has been an incredible way of practising drawing and design.

I created all these pieces in Krita using my Huion GT-220 tablet. I used ArtPose pro for human pose and shading reference and primarily searched images for non-human reference.

Doing month long drawing challenges has not only helped to sharpen my general drawing skills, it has specifically made me faster and helped develop a good work ethic. The speed is especially helpful for character design and iteration, producing multiple versions of the same design to select the best one.
